We are delighted that OMVCS, under Manchester City Council, has recognised the positive impact of our volunteering work in supporting vulnerable members of the Manchester community. In light of this, they have agreed to extend funding for our Cost-of-Living Project for an additional five months, from December 2025 to April 2026. This project remains one of our most vital initiatives and is particularly close to our hearts.
At the Ceebee Gold Foundation, our mission is to address poverty and promote positive wellbeing. We firmly believe that access to food is fundamental, as without it, individuals—both young and old—cannot function effectively. When our service users are adequately nourished and have food security at home, we are then able to meaningfully engage them in conversations about wellbeing. This foundation enables them to listen, learn, and apply new skills that support their journey into employment, empowering them to provide for themselves and their families and, in turn, support others.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our funders for their continued support and commitment to our work.

On 19th December 2025, Ceebee Gold Foundation, with support from The Charity Service, delivered a one-off African and Caribbean Cultural Christmas Celebration for vulnerable families, children, and elderly residents from Openshaw and surrounding North Manchester communities.
The event focused on reducing social isolation and supporting families during the festive season by providing cultural food parcels, Christmas hampers, gifts for children, and essential items. These included culturally familiar food items, drinks, baby clothes, toys, and other essentials to help families celebrate Christmas with dignity.
One particularly touching moment was when a pregnant mother received baby clothes and toys for her 2-year-old son and her unborn child. She became very emotional, explaining that she had been worried about how she would afford clothes and toys for her children this Christmas. Another attendee shared that even if she received no further support over the festive period, what Ceebee Gold Foundation had provided was enough to make her Christmas complete.
The celebration helped bring people together, reconnect isolated residents, and strengthen community bonds. Families felt supported, valued, and included, and many expressed deep gratitude for the practical and emotional support received.
Ceebee Gold Foundation is proud to have delivered this meaningful one-off Christmas initiative with support from The Charity Service, helping families feel cared for, connected, and hopeful during the festive season.

We're excited to announce that we've received a generous grant from the Asda Foundation to support our Foodbank Fundamentals project! This project is dedicated to providing essential food support, wellbeing activities, and community connection opportunities to vulnerable groups in our community, particularly those from African, Caribbean, and refugee backgrounds.
Our goal is to reduce isolation, build resilience, and address health inequalities and mental health issues exacerbated by social exclusion and the cost-of-living crisis. With the support of the Asda Foundation, we can make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
We’re thrilled to share our rich African heritage with the Greater Manchester community, thanks to the generous support of We Love Manchester.
Our ‘Africa: Our Way of Life’ project promotes cultural understanding, encourages community engagement, and strengthens social connections.
